After an overnight stay, we’ll spend the second day mastering the art of cooking on the Big Green Egg at the hotel’s renowned Season Cookery School, before lunching on our catch from the day before.
There are two dates available, with just 10 spaces on each one.
Tickets include accommodation, food, welcome drinks, wine-pairing with dinner, equipment and tuition.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?
DAY ONE
The adventure starts at 8am with a hearty breakfast, followed by a full day of fly fishing at Leckford Lakes, a peaceful haven teeming with trout. The trip includes expert tuition and a lakeside lunch cooked on the EGG. In the evening, we’ll gather at The Wellhouse to share a fire-cooked feast with wine pairings.
DAY TWO
After breakfast, we’ll head to the Season Cookery School for an immersive Big Green Egg cookery lesson. This will culminate in a generous lunch – you’ll be the chefs. We’ll use our catch from the day before, complemented by the finest local ingredients.

EXTRA GUESTS AND EXTRA NIGHTS
We have just 10 spaces available per weekend for the fishing trip and cookery lesson, so tickets are priced per person, based on single occupancy. However, you are very welcome to bring a guest to share your room and join our spectacular evening feast, at an additional cost of £135.
With the early start on day one, you might wish to arrive the night before. Or you may want to stick around a little longer after the group activities wrap up to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the Hampshire countryside. If so, extra nights are available from £315 per room for bed and breakfast.
For an extra guest please choose from the drop down menu above. Please note your guest won't be able to take part in the activities but Lainston can help organise alternatives.
