The Highland Scramble, run by Bikerbnb, takes small groups of riders on motorbike treks around the Scottish Highlands. Spend the days on guided rides through some of the UK’s most stunning countryside, stopping occasionally to take in the majestic mountains and wild coastline. Spend the nights in comfortable, characterful accommodation, sharing food and drink with your fellow riders and digesting the day’s experiences.
Our friends at Bikerbnb are Big Green Egg customers 10% off their Skye Traverse tour, which runs 3rd to 8th July 2025. This five-day, 1,000-mile ride takes in the jewels of the western Highlands and includes two Big Green Egg feasts, cooked by local chefs using the region’s seasonal produce.

What’s included?
Price includes breakfast, dinner, accommodation, professional photography and a support vehicle for luggage. Riders need to provide their own bikes and fuel. Royal Enfield motorcycles are available for hire from Bikerbnb’s Edinburgh workshop.
Where does the Skye Traverse tour go?
The tour starts and finishes in Edinburgh. The Skye Traverse route covers up to 1,000 miles, mostly on tarmac. It includes Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, Cairngorms National Park, Speyside, Skye, Wester Ross, Ardnamurchan and Glencoe. The rides kick off each morning at about 9.30am and reach the evening accommodation around 6pm, with plenty of stops for coffee, lunch and off-the-bike experiences.

It starts in Edinburgh on the morning of 3rd July 2025 and finishes back in Edinburgh on the evening of 8th July. It includes six days of riding and five nights of accommodation.
On the Skye Traverse, all of the accommodation is in glamping-style venues: well-appointed but with an open air feel and sometimes fairly remote locations. Expect warm, comfortable pods and cabins, open fires and communal eating.
