This is a highly versatile condiment, perfectly at home on a bacon sandwich, a fry up, or some grilled chicken or pork. It also pairs magically with a thick piece of flaky salmon.

Blak Fire Sauce is a spiced soy chilli sauce created by our good friend Matt Burgess – a London-based New Zealand Maori chef and food consultant, Big Green Egg afficionado and self-confessed hot sauce addict. Born in the kitchen of Matt’s flat during the Covid lockdowns, the sauce was initially created to brighten up the meals of local families who were isolating at home. Now, after several cycles of development, it’s ready to be launched to the world, bringing an elegant balance of heat, spice and umami.
