About the fire ring
The fire ring sits directly on top of the firebox and provides support for your ConvEGGtor. It's excellent at retaining heat, and is made out of the same NASA-grade ceramics as the dappled green base and dome.

Your lifetime warranty covers the EGG’s ceramic components (Base, Dome, Firebox and Fire Ring). The ConvEGGtor carries a 3-year warranty. The metal components (rEGGulator, Stainless Steel Grid, Fire Grate, Bands and Draft Door) are covered by a 5-year warranty. Wooden products (tables and shelves), the Tel-Tru and the Gasket are covered by a 1-year warranty.
