The Rotisserie is quite forgiving when it comes to cleaning – it’s comfortable with detergent and with fairly vigorous scrubbing. You could even clean it in a dishwasher if you happen to have a massive dishwasher!
How to clean the rotisserie
Once the Rotisserie ring and spit have cooled, remove the spit from the motor. Lift the ring from the rim of the EGG. Fill a sink with hot soapy water. Loosen the wing screws for both forks and carefully remove everything from the spit. Wash and dry each wing screw and fork, then wash and dry the spit and handle. Put the forks back on the skewer and tighten the wing screws. Finally, wash and dry the Rotisserie ring.
