Set within a sleek modern design, the SPIN Air’s hidden Bio-Burner technology creates a captivating, clearly structured, dancing flame. The fire remains visible even in daylight but really comes into its own as the sun goes down, providing atmospheric lighting and gentle heat radiation.
Fired by liquid bioethanol, the Höfats SPIN Air provides a clean, odourless flame that lasts for over 1½ hours without refuelling. By installing the Eco-Ring, you can reduce the flame height and extend the burn time. Available in two sizes (the 900 and 1200) and two colours (black and green), this is an exclusive product currently unavailable anywhere else in the UK.

Patented technology
At the heart of the SPIN Air is the patented Bio-Burner. This sophisticated burner produces a distinctive flame, bright enough to be visible even in daylight. A full measure of liquid bioethanol, poured in via the safety valve, will burn for over 1½ hours. By installing the Eco-Ring to control the flame height, you can increase that burn time by as much as 50 percent.
About Höfats
Named after a mountain in the Allgäu Alps, Höfats was founded in Germany in 2011 by Thomas and Christian, two good friends who met at university while studying mechanical engineering and product design. Based on the formula ‘Fire + Form + Function’, their business has since won 54 design awards and prizes for a range of products that includes table flames, fire baskets, fire bowls, barbecues, lanterns and torches.

The SPIN Air runs on liquid bioethanol. Your new SPIN Air will come with two free 1-litre bottles of Höfats liquid bioethanol, but we do not sell the fuel as a separate product.
The SPIN Air 900 has a burning time of 80-120 minutes, using approximately 200ml of Höfats bioethanol liquid fuel. The SPIN Air 1200 has a burning time of 100-150 minutes, using approximately 500ml of fuel.
Yes. The SPIN Air 900 produces 1,100w of heat and the SPIN Air 1200 produces 2,000w. In comparison, a traditional candle tea light produces 35w and a log burner produces 3,000-6,000w.
Yes, the SPIN Air can be used both indoors and outdoors. Höfats is one of the few brands whose tabletop fireplaces are approved for indoor use in accordance with DIN EN 16647.
No, the Bio-Burner does not need to be cleaned. It is sufficient to dust it from time to time with a fine, dry cloth. It should never be opened.
Yes. We can currently only ship bioethanol to land-based addresses within the UK due to strict regulations surrounding the transportation of flammable liquids. These rules limit our ability to ship to islands or locations that require sea or air freight, including Northern Ireland, Ireland and the Channel Islands. To ensure compliance and safety, our deliveries are restricted to mainland UK only.
