Set up your EGG for direct cooking with the Stainless Steel Grid in place. Target temperature is 160°C.
Add all the ingredients to a pan, stir well and heat for 30 minutes until just simmering. Be very careful not to let it reach a full boil.
Leave to cool slightly, then taste to ensure that the sweetness level is right. Stir in a tiny bit more sugar if needed. Ladle into glasses to serve.
