A classic side dish for a Christmas dinner (or any roast, or indeed any dinner!)

Set up your EGG

Set up your EGG for indirect cooking, with the ConvEGGtor in the legs-up position topped with the Stainless Steel Grid. The target temperature is 180°C.

Wrap each of the chipolatas in a rasher of bacon and placing them on a roasting tray. Make sure they’re not too tightly packed together, as that will stop them crisping up.

Roast the pigs in blankets

Roast in the EGG for 30 minutes. Every 10 minutes, open the EGG and move the piggies around to get an even golden colour.
