Unlike softwood charcoal, whose high resin content results in nasty emissions, inconsistent heat and sticky residues, our sustainably sourced hardwoods burn clean, long and hot, making them perfect for outdoor cooking. And unlike coals covered in chemical accelerants that need to be burnt off, they don’t have to be completely white before you start your cook. Using our charcoal, a MiniMax can come up to heat in 10 minutes, a Large in 15 minutes and an XL in 20 – so quick that an after-work barbecue is a viable option. Each load is re-useable, with just a top-up needed for the next cook, meaning that a single bag can fuel your EGG for hours on end.
